I would like to highlight the SAE technical Paper "Further Analysis of the Blockage Phenomenon during the Testing of Bluff Automotive Bodies in Closed Wall Wind Tunnels" (SAE 2022-01-0887) by Mark Gleason and me as Co-Author. Mark is investigating effects of blockage in physical automotive wind tunnel experiments. This paper has received pretty strong attention and I am proud, that we at #numericsystems were able to support this scientific work by providing our #GPU accelerated #LBM based #Pacefish #CFD solver to Mark allowing him to run the large set of complex studies on a self-funded 2x NVIDIA RTX8000 system within a short time frame. Correlation of the Pacefish results with results from Mark's previous work have shown pretty high consistency. I appreciate having had the opportunity to contribute a Pacefish overview section to this publication. Mark is going to update this Paper soon by adding a generic commercial van geometry to the set of the covered test bodies together with some other changes.
