The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) conference Product Safety and Stewardship Conferece started with a lot of energy and record number of attendees in its 33rd edition. This year, Rick Weires and I are representing Balanced Engineering LLC. We also invited Jannis Jung, from Fraunhofer IESE, one of our technology partners in developing tools for integration of AI in off-road automation. Todd Stucke, Chair of AEM Board, and President of Kubota Tractor Corporation narrated a personal account of the risks that exist in agriculture (potato production in his case) in a very humorous way, and at the same time, brought the attention of why working on product safety is such a noble occupation. Jill Wiggins, Chair of the AEM Product Safety Committee and Responsible for Digital Service Tools at CNH Industrial provided the opening remarks and a precise description of the event and how to get the most of it. Finally, Meagan Johnson brought tremendous energy with her “Bridging the Generation Gap” providing humorous description of the diffente generations and advice on how to work together “as one generation”. Well done, Meagan!
