2023 was a record year for L'Oréal in so many ways:  -     The Consumer Product Division had its best growth in more than 30 years at +12.6% like for like. -     Our Luxury division has become the number one in Luxury #beauty - The Professional products division achieved record market share of 25% - Our Dermatology beauty division had a stellar growth of +28.4% -     We have seen  double-digit like-for-like growth across all our regions, with the exception of North Asia. -     We are focused on inventing the future of beauty with Beauty Tech. L’Oréal became the first beauty company to give the opening Keynote at CES in Las Vegas, and won a record seven CES Innovation Awards. -      We are the only company in the world to have been awarded a triple ‘A’ rating by CDP for eight years in a row.   This is only made possible by the people of L'Oréal, a huge congratulations and thanks to all the teams including the Digital community for their passion and continued quest for transformation.

2023 was another very successful year for L'Oréal. Sales grew +11% like-for-like, our third consecutive year of double-digit growth. Not only did we reinforce our position as the world's #1 beauty company, we also crossed the €40Bn sales mark for the first time in our history.    I am immensely grateful to our teams. Their creativity, entrepreneurship and passion have enabled us yet again to outperform a dynamic beauty market.   In times of uncertainty, people want to have pleasurable experiences and feel good about themselves - and beauty allows them to do just that. This is what I call ‘the dopamine effect’ of beauty.    So, as we head into 2024, I’m confident that the global beauty market will continue to grow, and that L’Oréal will achieve yet another year of growth in sales and profits. Congratulations Asmita, Hugely impressive growth stats, the CDP rating is so impressive and undoubtedly more and more important beauty is at the forefront and it's ways expand more and more across consumer health and wellness, where sustainability of products is perhaps less questioned, but it's importance will continue to rise as people take more control of their personal health, wellbeing (and beauty)
