It was an exciting day for our leadership team earlier this week when we visited the new Goodwill Industries of Kentucky Opportunity Center in West Louisville. This one-stop shop is a game changer for people seeking a path toward employment and a hand up in life. It's also an inspiring example of collaboration in action; Volunteers of America Mid-States offers housing support, health resources, veteran services, recovery treatment and more on-site, making it easier than ever for job seekers to access everything they need in one central location. One of the things we're most proud of is our commitment to open mindedness and hearing different perspectives. These days, it's more important than ever as we all work to find common ground - and for us, use it as the foundation for helping our client partners create meaningful impact. We believe every perspective is valuable and uniquely one's own based on lived experience. Our team member Larissa Reece was recently asked to participate in College Bowl by Divided We Fall, a nonprofit, nonpartisan news publication.
