A bipartisan group of lawmakers has reintroduced legislation to overhaul the #PriorAuthorization process for Medicare Advantage plans. The proposed bill seeks to streamline the approval process, reduce administrative burdens for healthcare providers, and ensure patients receive timely access to necessary medical treatments. The legislation also mandates increased transparency from health plans, requiring clear and specific reasons for any delays or denials of prior auth requests.
