I want to express my gratitude for the team's exceptional efforts during this weekend's member-guest tournament. Your hard work and dedication throughout the three-day event did not go unnoticed. From the early mornings, you started each day with a delightful and energizing positive tone for our guests, and Your attention to detail was nothing short of spectacular. The level of service and the love you put into every item served were outstanding, providing a perfect end to each day with spectacular parties. Your commitment to excellence was evident in every aspect, from hors d'oeuvres to dessert. Despite the long hours and the oppressive heat, your professionalism and unwavering dedication ensured that every meal was not just a meal but a memorable experience for our guests. The positive feedback from our guests is a testament to your hard work and talent. Thank you for your teamwork and positive attitude and for going above and beyond to make the tournament more than a success. Your efforts are greatly appreciated not just by me but also by everyone involved. I also need to give a shout-out to the teams at Westhampton who held down the busy restaurants and one extremely high-touch wedding. Your efforts allowed us to focus on making this tournament one for the books. #thankyou #teamwork

I love new member orientation! It is our only chance for a great first impression and the perfect opportunity to flex the culinary muscle of the team. Taking the time to be on the floor, working the carving board tonight, allows me to properly introduce myself and ensure our new members that we are not only here to serve them great food, but also an amazing experience. Every member of the banquet team, both front and back of house, did an amazing job tonight doing just that, creating an experience that our new members will remember for a years to come. Chef Cody Etchill, looking at his brisket like a proud father, did an amazing job with a pop up brisket sandwich station poolside today! The smell of wood smoke across the pool was all the advertising he needed. Well done Chef and thank you for making this Saturday morning a little special for our membership! #thankyou

What an amazing spring! A record breaking May felt just as hard as it was supposed to thanks to a great team. From huge graduation lunches and Debutante Balls, to packed Pool decks the team absolutely crushed every dish, platter and party that we served. Cannot thank them enough for all their hard work and long hours and look forward many more successes in the months to come. #teamwork #thankyou

We're thrilled and saddened to watch our incredibly talented sous chef, Theodore Fisher, take a big step forward in his culinary journey! Teddy has accepted the position of Banquet Chef de Cusine at Farmington Country Club, a significant leap in their career, and we couldn't be prouder. We know he is in great hands working under Chef Michael Matarazzo and will represent the culinary traditions of The Country Club of Virginia as he takes the reigns of his banquet operation.  Teddy's passion for food, exceptional kitchen skills, and dedication to excellence have made him a true asset to our brigade. We've been fortunate to work alongside such a creative and hardworking individual, and we know that his future is filled with even more opportunities and achievements. Please join us in congratulating Teddy on this exciting new chapter! It was a beautiful night for an off-site Board dinner. Thank you to the team for all the hard work on this wonderful event, which had an amazing ambiance and a delightful menu. It was a great start to a busy week!

A perfect day for a car show! Today we hosted everything from Monster trucks to Morgans' on our grand lawn for our second club cruisin' event. The weather could not have been better here at The Country Club of Virginia and the turnout was fantastic. The Chew-Chew continues to prove an invaluable part of events like this with the team inside able to keep up with a very nice crowd of hungry members! Thank you Nicholas Drew and Joshua Woo for coming in early to help set up and Riley Reese for running point out front. Also, shout out to Cynthia Romstadt for the lead on the awesome classic car boxes. They were a huge hit! #thankyouall
