Yet another potential election security risk popping up, this time on a global scale.

🚨 Attention Voter Registration Groups! 🚨 New laws in Florida and Kansas are tightening regulations on voter registration activities. These include stricter fines ($250,000), shorter submission deadlines, and new requirements for handling applications - including threats of "impersonating an election official" by collecting VR signatures. The Texas Senate has a hearing in two weeks on election issues and I wouldn't be surprised to see some of these pop up here too. I spoke earlier this week to the AI select committee in the Texas House. It's this kind of stuff that I'm worried about eroding what little public confidence remains in our electoral and governance process.
