Listen y'all. I mean this with all the love in my heart. Those calendly links are supposed to offer convenience for people who want to meet with you. Not be a foot in the door to pester people who don't want to meet with you. I promise if I was interested in your product/service OR if I had 20-minutes of free time to chit-chat with you over zoom, I would click that link so fast. But if I'm not interested or if I don't have an ample amount of free time, I won't.... This isn't a test of persistence situation... it's a read-the-room situation. And honestly, if I join a single coffee chit-chat zoom before I actually show up for a friend lunch, Chris Hennessy 🎙📹 will lose his dang mind. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.
A while back I had a software vendor call me on a Friday afternoon. I told him that it was not a good time to chat. He asked when would be. I told him to email me in 6 weeks. With some sort of voodoo magic he was able to put an appointment on my calendar without my accepting it. Even if that software could completely do all of my work for me, I wouldn't use it. It felt like opening my bedroom door to find a stranger sitting there.
If I get a "calendy link" from someone I don't know - it's an automatic delete for me
I seriously was trying to write the same post today!!! lol So I'll just say ditto
You are absolutely right I would!!! 🤣🤣🤣 You should just tell me when you're available instead of letting me pick the day 🤣🤣
Say it louder for sales folks in the back.

7moSPILL THE TEA This is never okay. How rude of someone to even think they were being sneaky.
