We’re grateful to share that our annual Fishing for a Cure tournament raised $70,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Constellation employees selected the foundation in support of Braidwood Clean Energy Center senior mechanic Mike Kap and his son, Logan, who has been fighting cystic fibrosis since he was born. We're thrilled that DEI was nominated as a 2024 Entergy Premier Supplier in the category of Innovation. This recognition is a testament to our commitment to delivering innovative technical solutions that improve nuclear plant operations and maintenance.   Entergy nominated DEI for our pioneering work in reactor cavity cleanup when normal plant systems were out of service due to condenser retubing. By introducing an ultrasonically regenerated filtration/demineralization technology, DEI helped Entergy optimize cleanup processes and played a critical role in maintaining plant functions during nuclear refueling outages.   DEI's innovative solution led to a remarkable reduction of 4.5 days in reactor cavity cleanup time while significantly minimizing cumulative radiation exposure (CRE) to workers. We congratulate Entergy for achieving these successes and appreciate your commitment to leveraging innovation to drive the industry forward!
