The parade will take place in the heart of Los Angeles on Saturday, February 17, 2024, from 1-4 pm, marking a momentous occasion in the city's cultural calendar. This year, the parade began with a spectacular display by the Los Angeles Police Department motorcycle team, followed by the Immortals Dragon and Lion dance, and the Chinese Historical Society's welcoming team with American flags, celebrating the strength, wisdom, and good fortune symbolized by the Year of the Dragon. Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, marking her second participation, inaugurated the parade, demonstrating the city's continued support for its diverse communities.
