FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Date: February 17, 2024 125th Golden Dragon Lunar New Year Parade Ushers in the Year of the Dragon with Grand Celebrations Los Angeles, CA - The Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Los Angeles is proud to announce the 125th Golden Dragon Lunar New Year Parade, a hallmark event celebrating the Year of the Dragon. The parade will take place in the heart of Los Angeles on Saturday, February 17, 2024, from 1-4 pm, marking a momentous occasion in the city's cultural calendar. This year, the parade began with a spectacular display by the Los Angeles Police Department motorcycle team, followed by the Immortals Dragon and Lion dance, and the Chinese Historical Society's welcoming team with American flags, celebrating the strength, wisdom, and good fortune symbolized by the Year of the Dragon. Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, marking her second participation, inaugurated the parade, demonstrating the city's continued support for its diverse communities.
