It’s a privilege to share this year’s Annual Equality Update as Salesforce's new Chief Equality Officer. A little over a month ago I returned to this company for the same reason I joined 9 years ago – our unwavering commitment to equality. At Salesforce, equality is not just a moment, a program, or an initiative — it’s our culture. Beyond being a core value, it’s how we innovate and lead. When we have diverse voices at the table, we are able to access untapped ideas, perspectives, and solutions. Especially as AI shapes every part of our lives, centering perspectives that are often on the margins will help us to create a future that is truly for everyone. Our public equality update is an important moment for reflection, transparency, and accountability. At the same time, to reach equality in our workplace and society, it takes intentional and consistent action from every one of us. A truly full circle moment. Nearly 9 years ago I joined Salesforce and I could have never predicted the incredible journey ahead. During my time, I created my role focused on Equality, became a founding member of the Equality team, led company-wide inclusion initiatives, served as global president of BOLDforce, and more. Now, I’m returning in a role I once described as my dream job — Salesforce's SVP and Chief Equality Officer. I’m so honored for this opportunity to lead during such a pivotal time. As technology and AI continue to shape every aspect of our lives, it is imperative that we have diverse perspectives at the table. In many ways this feels like returning home and I'm very excited for what's ahead. I have so much gratitude for my community who continuously supports and guides me. It was amazing to share the stage with Jessica Ross along with the story of our friendship, mentorship, and leadership journeys at The Wharton School for the Financial Women SF #InternationalWomensDay event. Jessica and I immediately connected years ago over our shared passions for equity, community, and visualization. Since then, we’ve helped each other to manifest our dreams while working in our respective spaces to shatter stereotypes of what a leader ‘should be’. Never stop dreaming big, visualizing greatness, and lifting as you climb. ✨💫

It means everything to be seen and recognized by your community. 🥺❤️ Someone once told me, “community is not something that happens, it’s something you do.” Thank you Warren, Matt and everyone who was part of this Toasted Life event for all you’ve done to strengthen our community in the Bay Area and beyond. When I moved here 10 years ago I could’ve never predicted the family, support, and love I’ve found.
