SOFWERX, in collaboration with the 27th Special Operations Maintenance Group, a Dragon's Lair 8 finalist, manufactured a munitions loading prototype called the Compact Loading Adapter and Winch System (CLAWS) in our Foundry in Tampa, Florida.  #innovation #rapidprototyping

Thanks for posting. I am curious, is the SOFWERX foundry staffed by military or civilian personnel? Specifically, do any of the military personnel get to perform the CAD, CAM, or CNC machining functions, or are there civilian workers who do this?

Looks like modified equipment and similar process that was previously used on removing and installing MCARS Pods on the MC-130H
