In this edition of #BeyondWork, we are joined by a highly motivated professional who is a seeker of knowledge in every aspect of life.   Striking the right balance between one’s personal and professional life is something Vidhi Doshi, Deputy Manager, Marketing, #AdaniConneX strongly believes in. Read along as she shares with us how her passion for learning and growth helped her reach where she is today.   The best part of my job: Getting to fully unleash my creativity while connecting with the audience is something I truly cherish. I love seeing the impact I make in real-time. I also love the fact that I get to interact with a diverse group of people across the world and build relations with them, it broadens my perspective and enhances my learning.    My journey at AdaniConneX: Over my three years at AdaniConneX, I’ve had the opportunity to explore various roles. My diverse experiences enabled me to learn and helped me find my true calling.   My daily dose of inspiration: My day starts with praying and a good workout routine that helps me stay positive and grounded in my values.   A latent talent: Teaching is something that’s been my passion for a long time. I used to teach during my college years and it’s just that brings me immense joy.   My take on life: I believe in balance. In a world obsessed with hustle culture, it is important to take good care of oneself. I feel that taking time out for your physical and mental health needs to be prioritized.   Success mantra:  ‘Striving until thriving’. In this edition of #BeyondWork we are joined by the very embodiment of the mantra "Show up and care.”     Opening up with us about this approach, which goes beyond the workplace and enriches his personal relationships, we are joined by Jackson Menke, Director of Construction Safety, EdgeConneX. Read along as he reflects on what drives him and ensures innovation every step of the way.   The best part of my job: The people! The answer to this has to be my amazing colleagues whom I get to interact with every day. Their constant support makes work feel like a breeze, and I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have this support system.    Journey with EdgeConneX so far: Working with the EdgeConneX team has been great! I feel truly grateful to have such a wonderful team. It’s been a joy to soak up the wealth of knowledge that the team brings and I genuinely hope that they feel the same way about me.   Daily source of inspiration: My family is my biggest motivator and source of inspiration. My two boys Landon (5) and Asher (2) and my wife Anna (whose age I will not be including) are my everything. Everything I do is for them. They are my rock, they keep me grounded and I don’t know what I would do without them. Something that not many people might know: I am not a man of many secrets but one thing not many people know about me is that although I have US citizenship, I was actually born in Aberdeen, Scotland. Success mantra for life: My mantra for life is simple, “show up and care”. I think that the simple act of showing up and caring often brings us positive outcomes. But showing up and caring is not just about your work, it also extends to the people in your life and I believe that these simple actions all add to the moments that affect our lives and make us better. #YourGrowthOurPriority #BeyondWork #Teamwork #Collaboration
