Description

SUMMARY : Kraft Sports + Entertainment is looking for a self-motivated, hardworking individual who is passionate about the game of football to help oversee all youth football programs for the New England Patriots organization. Youth football includes youth tackle, flag and high school football initiatives. This is a full-time position that will require additional evening and weekend hours. A successful candidate will have a proven track record of organizing youth clinics and events, working with brands and coaches, and more .

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Assist with the coordination of all youth tackle, flag and high school football initiatives for the New England Patriots.
  • Support program goals and a ‘youth football’ plan that incorporates Patriots initiatives, as well as NFL Flag, NFL PlayFootball, Nike, RCX Sports, genYOUth, USA Football, Pop Warner etc.
  • Assist with the growth and success of the recently launched girls high school flag football program in the state of Massachusetts to include expanding program to all six New England states.
  • Serve as the liaison between the New England Patriots and youth football partners and contacts across the NFL and the New England region.
  • Assist with the programming of all youth football initiatives at Patriots home games.
  • Oversee, manage and update the various football databases.
  • Organize and execute coaches clinics, coach certifications and parent’s clinics.
  • Assist with football programs supported by NFL partners including Nike.
  • Respond to and track all youth football donations, NFL youth football grant and event requests.
  • Partner with the Social/Digital Marketing team to promote Patriots youth football programs and events using tools such as dedicated emails, organic and paid search, push notifications, banner ads, designated web pages, in-game elements, and physical activations at Training Camp and at other Patriots events.
  • Support the operations of the annual MIAA High School Football Championships and High School Coaches Clinic at Gillette Stadium.
  • Track metrics for programs/initiatives and create annual youth football club metrics report.
  • Special projects and assignments as business dictates.

  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities

Skills And Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent education, training, and experience.
  • 0-2 years experience in the sports industry preferred.
  • Experience with event planning, event operations and project management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a high-energy environment. Ability to work independently while also collaborating in a team dynamic.
  • Ability to work well under pressure/time constraints .
  • Must be self-motivated, organized, customer service focused, and hard-working.
  • Willing to work flexible hours including nights and weekends; hours may vary depending on business needs.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient in Adobe Platforms preferred.
  • Creative mindset preferred.
  • Must be able to learn new tasks and complete tasks independently
  • Must be able to make timely decisions in the context of the workflow.
  • Must possess strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and responsiveness.
  • Must be able to adhere to process protocol and must be able to apply established protocols in a timely manner.
