Workday Vice President
Vice President (Workday Payroll) - New York - up to $250k
Our client, a prestigious investment bank based in New York City, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Technology with specialized expertise in Workday Payroll. This role presents a unique opportunity to join a leading financial institution known for its innovation and commitment to excellence.
As the Vice President of Technology, you will play a pivotal role in the bank's HR technology landscape, specifically focusing on Workday Payroll. You will lead and manage the implementation, enhancement, and optimization of Workday Payroll solutions, ensuring seamless integration with other HR systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Strategy: Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for Workday Payroll aligned with the bank's overall HR technology strategy.
- Implementation and Enhancement: Lead the end-to-end implementation of Workday Payroll modules, including configuration, testing, and deployment phases.
- Integration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to integrate Workday Payroll with other HR systems (ideally including Workday HCM) and financial systems.
- Optimization and Maintenance: Continuously optimize Workday Payroll functionality to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Technical Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert on Workday Payroll, providing guidance and support to HR and IT teams.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with Workday consultants and other third-party vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality of services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in supporting Workday Payroll solutions within a complex organizational environment, preferably within the financial services industry.
- In-depth knowledge of Workday Payroll configuration, reporting, and integration capabilities.
- Ideally, experience with Workday HCM to facilitate comprehensive HR technology solutions.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
