Welder / Fabricator for Engine Shop

LiquidPiston is seeking a Welder / Fabricator to support our rotary engine build and testing teams.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to;

• Build and repair test rigs
• Weld (TIG, MIG) and braze a variety of materials including steel, aluminum, stainless, titanium, brass, etc.
• Assist with engine builds and tear-downs
• Measure and inspect parts using precision hand tools, cameras, other equipment
• Operate manual milling machine and lathe
• Electrical and wiring tasks, as needed
• Communicate and work well with other engineers and technicians
• Debug mechanical systems
• Maintain a spirited, open-minded personality and “can do” attitude
  
  

Required Skills:

• Operate lathe/milling machine
• High attention to detail and work ethic
• Ability to learn quickly and retain large amount of information
• Intermediate to advanced skills in welding and general fabrication
