The web manager sits within the paid-owned-earned media ecosystem for the Cetaphil and Differin brands in the US market. It reports into media director leadership. This role defines and implements web strategies to drive awareness, user engagement and sales conversion. The Web Manager uses data to continuously optimize user journeys and customer experience across websites, works in-platform in Salesforce, and also communicates with many other teams in the company. This role requires SEO knowledge and basic development skills to be able to manage the day-to-day operations and integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
Liase with the Global Product Strategy teams and Global IT teams to define website optimization roadmap and align on priorities
Ensure brand websites are optimized for user experience, performance, and SEO and own the localization of the Global web strategy for the US market, aligning with GPS to define website optimization roadmap and priorities
Proactively handle project management for web initiatives, working effectively with domestic brand management team members and global IT stakeholders
Lead agency partners and liaise with external tech partners to ensure all web connections and related systems are functioning and configured correctly.
QA and audit connections and elements to ensure accuracy for our product lines at various retailers
Set up new pages and make updates to pages
Handle web updates in front-end CMS systems directly (Salesforce) while collaborating with other teams for others, depending on specific task
Collaborate with CRM agencies and colleagues and implement steps needed for user journey or triggers or tagging to power email and remarketing programs
Lead the implementation of Salesforce Customer 360 and Marketing Cloud across relevant media and advertising channels, gaining buy-in from local and global stakeholders and cross-functional stakeholders (technical experience preferred)
Help diagnose issues on the site and how to address them, to increase conversion rates
Define success metrics and KPIs, create reports and develop and explore new analytics to optimize site performance and usage.
Analyze website activity to identify opportunities for conversion or improved traffic flow.
Define SEO strategy and execution including optimizing website content, link building and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks and drive qualified traffic
Coordinate with GPS on SEO strategy and execution including optimizing website content, link building and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks and drive qualified traffic
Preferred Skills and Knowledge:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field is required.
5+ or more years of digital marketing experience is required.
Experience with Salesforce and its CMS systems (e.g., Commerce Cloud, Marketing Cloud) is required Experience with Drupal or other platforms is a plus but not required
Experience with a variety of SEO reporting tools including Conductor or BrightEdge as well as crawlers such as Screaming Frog, Botify and DeepCrawl.
Experience with Google reporting suite, including GA 360, Google data studios and Google tag manager
In-depth experience analyzing and optimizing the customer journey on owned properties
Experience either working with an SEO agency or in-house SEO department
Ability to translate layman's terms brand needs into functional and technical direction for IT teams
Ability to handle multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines
