Job Summary: pewag Inc. is looking for a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Sales like yourself to oversee and lead the sales team ensuring that the department is managed and performing efficiently and effectively. You have a successful track record of developing sales strategies, identifying and expanding target markets, and sales tactics for our Industrial Lifting segment division. In addition, you will build a sales team, and foster team development to ensure we meet our ambitious growth targets.

What you’ll do:

  • You will oversee the sales team ensuring the department is managed and performing efficiently and effectively
  • You will lead the sales strategy/processes and build lasting relationships with others within and outside of the business
  • Hire, train, and manage sales team so they are successful and hit their top-line revenue goals as well as their growth objectives
  • Design and execute a key account management strategy to nurture and expand relationships with major clients
  • Personally manage a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring their needs are met and identifying opportunities for further engagement
  • Execute new growth directives for the local Sales Reps within their designated geographical territory
  • Working in conjunction with our Managing Director, help to ensure sales and operations are working cohesively to achieve a common goal
  • Develop and review budgets to achieve projected top-line revenue
  • Working with the human resources department to create job descriptions and hire competent personnel
  • As a member of the executive management team, work to meet company objectives
  • Working with departmental heads to develop financial plans
  • Participate in industry associations and events
  • Provide quarterly and annual planning of company sales objectives
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities
  • Prepare reports and presentations for the management team


What you’ll need:

  • Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably within the Industrial Lifting industry
  • 7+ years of experience as a regional or area manager of salespeople with a market competitor or direct competitor
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing sales teams
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate complex ideas into actionable plans.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus
  • Travel to all areas/locations
  • Remote working with little to no direct supervision
