Newly created position reporting to the CFO and responsible for a team of HR Directors in the U.S. and Europe.
Responsibilities
Coach, direct, supervise, and coordinate work activities related to employee relations, employee services and counseling, employment compliance to regulatory concerns and reporting, policy development and documentation, 401k, payroll and benefits administration, compensation, etc.
Work with senior leadership team to define, enhance, and maintain the company culture.
Develop and evaluate reports, decisions, and results of the department in relation to company and departmental goals.
Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
Develop and administer various company-wide human resources initiatives, and procedures.
Oversee the evaluation, classification, and rating of occupations and positions within the compensation program.
Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource policy best practices and changes to regulatory requirements.
Develop, recommend and implement personnel policies and procedures as well as prepares and maintains handbook policies and procedures.
Qualifications
10+ years of progressive experience in Human Resource Generalist/Management position(s).
Experience managing HR resources as well as associated policies and procedures in the U.S. and Europe
Strategic thinker who helps organizations plan for future growth and success
Ability to interact with the C-suite and coordinate efforts across all teams
Considerable knowledge of principles and practice of personnel administration as well as state, federal, and international employment regulations/law.
Bachelor’s degree in related field, master’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
