COMPENSATION: $185,000 - $215,000

ROLE SUMMARY:

Healthmine is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Vice President of Actuary and Analytics. This role is instrumental in shaping data-driven strategies and providing key insights to drive decision-making within the organization. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President, Technology, the Vice President of Actuary and Analytics will be responsible for analyzing health data, deriving actionable insights, and providing strategic recommendations to enhance Healthmine’s impact.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Develop and execute the analytics and insights strategy in alignment with Healthmine’s overall goals.
• Oversee the analysis of health-related data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for intervention, and patient engagement.
• Create and deliver insightful reports and presentations to inform decision-makers at all levels of the organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven insights that support strategic decision-making processes.
• Identify opportunities for optimizing health programs based on analytics findings.
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to health outcomes and program effectiveness.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and improvement within the Analytics and Insights function.
• Engage with external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry experts, to stay informed about industry trends, challenges, relevant healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
• Establish and enforce data governance standards to ensure the integrity and security of healthcare data.
• Act as Data, Stars, and HEDIS subject matter expert on Consulting and Professional Services projects, as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU NEED:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 10+ years of analytics and insights experience.
• 5+ years' experience working with senior-level, c-suite executives and proven leadership experience in analytics and insights, ideally within the healthcare industry.
• Strong technical proficiency in statistical analysis, data modeling, and visualization tools.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple healthcare analytics initiatives simultaneously.
