Lillie’s Home is a non-profit trauma responsive community organization that takes an integrative approach to end chronic homelessness, dismantle social isolation and foster relationship building by offering placed based services. We are purposed to redefine home. We will do this by providing long term supportive housing program for women who are pregnant and up to a year post-partum with their infant. We will provide non-residential mental and behavioral health services including clinical case management, wellness programming and other supportive services to support the entire family.

Job Title: Volunteer Clinical Advisory Board Member
Role Description
Lillie’s Home seeks a board member with experience in vast range of pregnancy-related experience with a preference for mental health experience. This would include reproductive psychiatrists or nurse practitioners, social workers, clinical counselors, registered or practical nurses, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, OB/GYNs, nurse practitioners and genetic counselors.
The board of Lillie’s Home is a volunteer board. Members are not paid and dedicate their time and expertise to support Lillie’s Home and its mission and collective purpose.
Expectations of Individual Board Members
We expect each board member to:
Know the mission, policies, programs, and needs of Lillie’s Home.
Faithfully read and understand Lillie’s Home financial statements and board materials in advance of meetings.
Serve as active advocates and ambassadors for Lillie’s Home and fully engage in identifying and securing the financial resources and partnerships necessary for Lillie’s Home to advance its mission and collective purpose.
Leverage connections, networks, and resources to develop collective action to achieve Lillie’s Home mission.
Give a meaningful personal financial donation after the first year of board membership.
Help identify personal connections that can benefit Lillie’s Home fundraising and reputational standing and influence public policy.
Prepare for, attend, and conscientiously participate in board meetings.
Participate in trainings that would allow board members to align with the trauma responsive foundation of Lillie’s Home.
Participate fully in one or more committees or task forces.
Engage in learning opportunities to better understand the community that Lillie’s Home serves.
Respect the experiences of all who bring their voices and lived experiences on to the board and into the boardroom and the organization.
