Vice President of Software Engineering

One of our Shopify Plus Retail Clients has recently kicked off a search for their first-ever VP of Software Engineering to spearhead their company's efforts to optimize their eCommerce and ERP engineering divisions, to establish internal ownership over their systems, and to begin the process of international expansion. The company in reference is a young, yet established, retailer that has been operating within the US for over a decade, where they're in rapid growth mode and are about to start the process of expanding their eCommerce presence to Global Markets.

Our client specializes in Consumer Electronics and is looking for a VP of Software Engineering to help craft experience-led eCommerce storefronts across their tech stack which is comprised of Shopify Plus and NetSuite technologies.

This role requires candidates to have experience with BOTH Shopify Plus and NetSuite ERP.

Additional Role Requirements-

• 5-8+ years of experience working as a hands-on Software Engineer
• 3+ years of overseeing engineers and external development firms
• 5+ years of experience crafting unique, experience-driven, storefront environments
• Extensive experience establishing revenue metrics/goals
• Strong background optimizing ERP systems (preferably NetSuite)
• Experience overseeing third-party vendor relationships
• Engineering Background within Shopify Plus environments preferred
• Robust exposure to overseeing the architecting, technical roadmap, and middleware integrations between ERP systems and Shopify Plus

This is a Full-Time/Fully Remote position, based in the US, with a competitive base salary of $200k, full benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k, etc), a generous bonus package of (of 10-20%), as well as equity within my client's organization.
