The Vice President of Primary Care Services is responsible for oversight of the primary care service line while leading the team in strategy, operations and administrative activities. The VP is responsible for promoting timely, high quality and efficient primary care operations in partnership with field and medical leadership.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Create vision, strategy and business plan for primary care services
Lead service line expansion activities in new markets / states
Cultivate patient referral relationships, including developing referral pathways across Community Care Partners’ urgent care centers
Develop clinical workflows and protocols for both providers and staff who support efficiency and accuracy across patient journey through intake, documentation and follow up
Optimize current and future systems used to manage service line including but not limited to electronic medical records utilized by CCP, eClinicalworks and Experity
Develop, monitor and manage the key performance indicators (KPI’s) and how we compare daily, weekly and monthly to an established scorecard and providing those statistics to team and Leadership; while working to improve scores and overall patient care
Drives processes improvements to increase productivity of providers and staff, manage cost, and improve quality of care
Provide leadership and support in quality improvement, quality assurance and high-quality patient care
Partner with primary care operational leadership team to ensure organizational effectiveness
Perform market research on latest trends in primary care services
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Primary Care services
Minimum of 5 years of leadership
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or related major field, preferred.
Certificate/License: N/A Experience with eCW, Salesforce preferred
Working Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills.
Demonstrated effective written, verbal and electronic communication that is professional in both content and delivery. Effectively models interpersonal and problem-solving skills to aid in the resolution of issues in a timely manner. Ability to work as a team member. Ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
