VICE PRESIDENT, PARTNERSHIPS, MEMBERSHIPS, SPONSORSHIPS

Operation HOPE is dedicated to financial dignity and inclusion. We equip young people and adults with the financial tools and education to secure a better future—coaching them through their personal aspirations and life’s challenges and facilitating their journey to financial independence. This position will provide partner account management and support for new partner development for key corporate partners of Operation HOPE.

General Description Of Duties And Responsibilities

This position is responsible for securing new HOPE Inside youth and HOPE Inside disaster partners, securing HOPE Memberships, and HOPE Global Forum sponsorships. The Vice President must have both the vision and skills to enable the President of Partnerships to foster the successful expansion of Operation HOPE in coordination with all key stakeholders and in response to ever-changing environments. HOPE anticipates this role building a $25M pipeline and securing a portfolio of 50 corporate partners in banking, real estate, insurance, and other industries.

The job requires a flexible schedule, creativity, attention to detail, ability to communicate, engage and collaborate with a wide variety of audiences and partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Minimum 8-10 years progressive sales experience
  • Proven experience closing corporate accounts in a nonprofit organization
  • Familiar with nonprofit fundraising
  • Prior experience managing and successfully renewing corporate relationships
  • Builds a pipeline of partnership prospects and drives successful revenue objectives
  • Assists with the development of sales strategies, pitches, initiatives and proposals to attract prospective partners to financially support Operation HOPE.
  • Successful candidate should have prior established network of individuals from the financial services sector focused on corporate social responsibility.
  • Aptitude and passion for financial inclusion and uplift
  • Demonstrated transparency and high integrity required

Skills

  • Superior written and oral presentation skills utilizing Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel and other visual software platforms
  • Expertise in developing compelling sales presentations and proposals
  • Prior experience utilizing robust CRM Management tools (including Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics)

Operation HOPE External Relationship Management

  • Develops, catalogs, and expeditiously sends proposals, decks, and follow-up information to prospective partners
  • Research and securing new prospect opportunities
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for assigned HOPE partner prospects
  • Execute and track go to market strategies
  • Provides regular updates to President of Partnerships
  • Provides some oversight of event planning related to the launch of partnerships with the HOPE Communications team
  • Builds a high-level understanding of key corporate functional areas, to include: Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA).

Operation HOPE Internal Relationship Management

  • Oversees certain relationships with HOPE corporate partners under the direction of the President of Partnerships
  • Develops and presents new growth opportunities to HOPE Executive leadership
  • Works internally with communications and marketing, and Research and Impact to develop proposals
