This is a newly created leadership position to support our international expansion focused on strategy development, driving portfolio expansion and volume across multiple channels of distribution, attaining corporate financial goals and leading team of high-energy, results-driven sales professionals. We are open to speaking with candidates for both VP and SVP levels

  • Work hand-in-hand with merchandising and sales leaders to develop, implement & execute strategy pillars to drive sales volume and increase overall market share of Horizon’s brand portfolio
  • Encourage laser-focus attention to strategic channel distribution efforts that drive incremental growth across key classes of trade as well as uncharted channels
  • Align with financial and merchandising leaders to implement strategic growth plans which focus on predetermined corporate initiatives and/or margin improvement targets
  • Set and track individual sales budgets; identify risks and any deviation from financial goals, and proactively implement remediation plans in effort to meet overall sales budget goals
  • Monitor industry movements that could potentially affect channel and volume growth plans, and work with sales leaders to develop strategic moves to combat these changes
  • Cultivate and maintain strategic high-level partnerships with key retailers to engage in strategy and business planning conversations. Attend retailer meetings as needed to focus on attaining these top level financial and strategic goals
  • Manage a team of sales leaders across multiple channels of distribution – may include outside sales representatives and distributors and satellite sales team members
  • Provide monthly and quarterly sales and budget reports focused in on identifying sales performance by sales leader, channel of distribution and tiered retail plans
  • Serve as the face of Horizon in key industry trade shows, internal and external retail/sales sessions and media events as needed
  • Act as senior leader and mentor, providing training and guidance to internal sales team direct reports as well as satellite office and partner sales representative groups



Position Requirement

  • MUST have international sales experienc
  • Proven track record in leading and building results-oriented sales forc
  • Knowledge of the CPG market a must (Toys & Creative portfolio a plus
  • Must be open to travel (up to 30%
