We are seeking a dynamic and experienced VP of HR to join our client's team. As a key member of their executive team, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's strategic HR initiatives, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring alignment with their business objectives.
Strategic HR Leadership:
Act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the executive team.
Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute comprehensive HR strategies in line with our business goals and growth plans.
Identify talent needs, facilitate workforce planning, and conduct succession planning to ensure a robust talent pipeline.
Operational Leadership:
Oversee all HR functions including talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, compensation, payroll, benefits, training, and HR compliance.
Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals, fostering their growth and creating a collaborative work environment.
Develop proactive talent acquisition strategies to support our sales-driven organization while prioritizing candidate experience.
Establish and uphold HR policies and procedures in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Collaborate with department heads to address employee issues, resolve conflicts, and promote a harmonious workplace.
Utilize HR metrics to enhance processes and decision-making.
Culture & Engagement:
Drive employee engagement initiatives and promote a culture of diversity, inclusion, and well-being.
Implement effective performance management programs to enhance productivity.
Develop and execute training programs to enhance workforce skills and align with our commitment to lifelong learning.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a strategic HR leadership role, preferably in the O&G industry.
Proven track record of aligning HR initiatives with business objectives.
Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
Demonstrated success in talent acquisition and leadership development.
Experience driving employee engagement and fostering positive company culture.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Board level experience including partnering with Compensation Committee
International and board presentation experience preferred.
Relevant HR certifications such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR are a plus.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
