Vice President Human Resources
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced VP of HR to join our client's team. As a key member of their executive team, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's strategic HR initiatives, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring alignment with their business objectives.
Strategic HR Leadership:
- Act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the executive team.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute comprehensive HR strategies in line with our business goals and growth plans.
- Identify talent needs, facilitate workforce planning, and conduct succession planning to ensure a robust talent pipeline.
Operational Leadership:
- Oversee all HR functions including talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, compensation, payroll, benefits, training, and HR compliance.
- Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals, fostering their growth and creating a collaborative work environment.
- Develop proactive talent acquisition strategies to support our sales-driven organization while prioritizing candidate experience.
- Establish and uphold HR policies and procedures in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with department heads to address employee issues, resolve conflicts, and promote a harmonious workplace.
- Utilize HR metrics to enhance processes and decision-making.
Culture & Engagement:
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and promote a culture of diversity, inclusion, and well-being.
- Implement effective performance management programs to enhance productivity.
- Develop and execute training programs to enhance workforce skills and align with our commitment to lifelong learning.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a strategic HR leadership role, preferably in the O&G industry.
- Proven track record of aligning HR initiatives with business objectives.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Demonstrated success in talent acquisition and leadership development.
- Experience driving employee engagement and fostering positive company culture.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Board level experience including partnering with Compensation Committee
- International and board presentation experience preferred.
- Relevant HR certifications such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR are a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
