THE ROLE:

We are seeking a Vice President who would work on two exciting pieces of business within our client portfolio. This person would support both a growing biotech on the frontlines of transforming the cancer screening process, as well as one leading the way in developing the first new treatment for schizophrenia in decades. This is a hybrid role, and we're open to hiring in either NYC or Chicago.

You will have the opportunity to work with a groundbreaking biotech creating buzz in the healthcare community for its blood test that screens for cancers before they are symptomatic. This account will give you the opportunity to lead public relations activities around a broad consumer education campaign that includes patient storytelling, earned media, sponsored content and social media. Supported by an integrated team of media and digital experts, you will help raise awareness of this important new technology.

Additionally, you will have an opportunity to support a company developing a new approach to treating schizophrenia. The work will start with unbranded activations featuring a celebrity spokesperson to showcase the ambitions, hopes and goals of people living with schizophrenia. Later in the year, you will support data milestones and prepare for a potential regulatory approval.

Both clients are open to new ideas and approaches, giving a VP the chance to leverage and build client relationships, recommend new approaches, and think outside the box. You will team up with the Group Senior Vice President on these accounts and lead the larger integrated team – strategy, brand, digital, creative, project management and earned media – to develop strategies, execute tactics and meet client objectives.
