Job Overview/Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to join our full-service small animal emergency and general practice hospital in Poughkeepsie, NY. This full-time position offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a facility that provides the gold standard in medical and surgical care. Responsibilities

Provide high-quality veterinary care in areas such as surgery, dentistry, internal medicine, emergency medicine, and general practice.

Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.

Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' health and treatment plans.

Work collaboratively with a team of veterinary professionals.

Participate in a rotational weekend schedule as needed.

Primary Skills

Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills.

Strong ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Proficiency in maintaining detailed and accurate medical records.

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

NY State Licensed - Current and in good standing.

All experience levels considered.

Ability to work a rotational weekend schedule is preferred.
