FRB St. Louis’ Bridge team furthers our division’s enterprise support for the U.S. Department of Treasury. The Bridge coordinates a broad range of activities across our division, including:
- Identifying opportunities for improvement and collaboration;
- Managing communications and facilitating organizational change management;
- Coordinating division reporting, financial management, and risk and access management;
- Supporting talent management programs;
- Product ownership of our customer relationship management, project tracking, and collaboration tools;
- Supporting other division efforts such as strategic planning, facilitating division-wide meetings, and new Employee/Contractor Treasury Orientation; and
- Providing project management support for multiple projects.
Responsibilities
- Oversee project activities of team to ensure controls are identified and mitigated, objectives are met, and status reporting completed; remove roadblocks where needed.
- Hire staffing, scheduling, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and training needs of team members. This training often carries over to division business line liaisons that the team partners with.
- Develop working relationships with division leadership and other stakeholders across the Bank and System.
- Attend meetings with stakeholders and communication with all levels of management, peers, and organizations within the Federal Reserve System and Bureau of the Fiscal Service.
- Assist leadership to guide strategic direction and documenting/communicating to the division.
- Manage units for compliance with controls and procedures; identify important operational risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure required reporting is completed.
- Identify opportunities to improve/automate processes and create efficiencies across the Treasury Support Division.
- Create written communications and presentations for leadership, partners, and customers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Communications.
- 7+ years of experience managing or influencing a team.
- Positive and collaborative working relationships established with FRB St. Louis partners and customers from varied backgrounds.
- Work cross-functionally, manage change, anticipate emerging issues, and consider diverse ideas and approaches.
- Established thought leader with strong project management skills, ability to manage context switching to simultaneously manage numerous projects and work processes.
- Demonstrated customer service skills in providing information to all levels of the organization and ability to guide direction and facilitate positive outcomes.
- Model and develop an organizational culture that ensures diversity, fosters an inclusive and respectful workplace, promotes employee engagement, and intervenes to address obstacles.
- Travel may be required (5%).
