The Training Specialist will design, develop, and deliver our contractor and territory manager trainings across North America.
Flex your instructional design skills by developing the curriculum and job aids across our portfolio of Building Envelope products with a focus on low-slope roofing, below grade waterproofing, and air/vapor barriers.
Deliver trainings at our dedicated training locations and on job sites across North America.
Measure the effectiveness of trainings and skill retention with a focus on continuous improvement.
What do you bring?
High School Diploma
College degree in education, training & development, or business administration, preferred.
3+ years of applied professional experience in a training or instructional role.
1 year of instructional or program design experience.
Background in construction materials, preferred.
Proficient in instructional design and MS Office software.
Ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment and coordination of programs and initiatives.
This role requires a high level of independence and self-motivation.
Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and build quality relationships through networking
Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Excellent presentation skills with good written and oral communication
Ability to travel up to 70% for trainings. Primarily domestic and occasionally Canada.
Able to navigate varying outdoor temperatures and construction site terrain to deliver field trainings.
Bilingual in English and Spanish, a plus!
