Develop high-quality training curricula tailored to corrections and law enforcement, including core and specialized content.
Perform comprehensive research on current events and industry trends to assess and define training needs.
Work collaboratively with training staff to establish and achieve short-term and long-term curriculum goals.
Ensure effective communication with team members to deliver all projects within deadlines.
Participate in both virtual and in-person meetings to align strategies and progress with team objectives.
Conduct quality assurance reviews to maintain and enhance the effectiveness of existing training materials.
Utilize the ACADIS/FTACS platform (TCI's Learning Management System) proficiently to design, manage, and evaluate training programs and events.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in corrections, criminal justice, or related field preferred, but not required.
Previous experience in law enforcement, corrections, or related field is highly preferred.
Previous experience in creating training content is highly preferred.
Above average proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel is required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and outside professionals.
Ability to consistently meet performance deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to develop training curriculum, training content, and points of instruction.
