Start date: Aug 15, 2024. End date: June 15, 2025. Must be available to start working at 3:20 after school is released Tues-Thurs, and as needed during tech for each production.
The Technical Director will work closely with the Theatre Director and artistic team to lead student crews and construct the set for each WHS Theatre production.
Responsibilities may include
Leading student crews in scenery construction.
Train students in the proper use and care of theatrical equipment and tools.
Maintaining the organization and safety of the Scene Shop.
Collaborating with the Theatre Director and Artist team on the scenic elements of each production.
Ensuring all scenic elements are completed according to schedule.
Leading strike for each production.
Maintain an inventory of theatrical equipment and supplies.
Selection Procedure: Position is open only to WEA employees through April 26, 2024 If no internal candidates are selected, external candidates will be considered. Position will remain open until filled.
