What You Will Do

The Displays & DCU Business Unit (DDCU) builds and tests Displays & Data Concentrators for Commercial and Military applications. In this position you will perform a variety of complex technical tasks. These tasks revolve around the repair, overhaul, modification, test, diagnosis and inspection of aerospace electronic and electro-mechanical components and assemblies.

Primary Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, test, evaluate and repair electronic and electro-mechanical components and assemblies.
• Interpret and confirm line defects within a short cycle time.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Read Component Maintenance Manual to identify repair procedures.
• Create rework/repair Work Instructions for hardware.
• Create records of maintenance and repair work.
• Work under limited supervision.
• Maintain the highest ethical standards, even when challenged from above.
  
  

Skills and Abilities:

• Broad technician skills and abilities of electrical & mechanical assembly / disassembly / troubleshooting / repair / overhaul, and testing and/or area of special expertise with Korry product lines.
• Clear understanding of technician processes.
• Capability to interface skillfully and technically with Engineering, Manufacturing, Customer Service Administration and customers.
• Advanced knowledge of pertinent technical reference materials such as Component Maintenance Manuals, Service Bulletins, engineering drawings, etc.
• Read and understand schematic and assembly drawings.
• Ability to proficiently set-up and use all testing and inspection equipment, from basic oscilloscope and digital multi-meter to complex and specialized lighting equipment.
• Highly motivated and possessing effective oral/written communication and interpersonal / team skills.
  
  

Preferred Education and Experience:

• AA/AS degree in Electronics; Military training in Electronics.
• Experience with digital and analog electronics and general hands on mechanical experience.
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in electronics.
  
  

Salary Range

Please note the typical hiring range is $30.00 - $45.00 hourly. Job offers within the range are based on significant job qualifications and pay equity.
