Territory Manager (Florida) – Industrial Engineering Service Company based out of Houston, TX.
About the Company:
This Industrial Engineering Service Company has been established for over 20+ years and has seen substantial growth within the last few years. Our client has an established reputation for engineering service excellence and providing quality products such as penetration seals, duct/liner, and expansion systems.
About the Role:
Bulk of your time being spent making on-site in person visits and the balance spent working from home.
You will be paired with a project engineer in the territory to provide you with all of the technical support required to prospect and close opportunities
Create and implement a sales strategy that makes sure you meets sales goals established by the company.
Communicate with all current and potential customers on a regular basis and oversee all sales activity in your assigned sales territory.
Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
Has regular and productive contact with customers and customer representatives and is often actively involved in the result of the sale.
Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
Coordinate with other members of the sales team and team leaders as needed to generate sales and provide excellent customer service.
Submit reports on your sales activity regularly into the company’s CRM software and maintain clean and updated records for all leads and customers.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, And Traits
5 years+ experience in sales, specifically outside/traveling sales
Territorial vs local sales is preferred
Experience selling to natural gas power plants is highly preffered
Intermediate computer skills and ability to utilize our web-based and mobile sales applications (SalesForce.com)
Intermediate proficiency in Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook
Customer service driven with a high sense of urgency
Very organized and extremely driven
