Territory Manager (Florida) – Industrial Engineering Service Company based out of Houston, TX.

About the Company:

This Industrial Engineering Service Company has been established for over 20+ years and has seen substantial growth within the last few years. Our client has an established reputation for engineering service excellence and providing quality products such as penetration seals, duct/liner, and expansion systems.

About the Role:

  • Bulk of your time being spent making on-site in person visits and the balance spent working from home.
  • You will be paired with a project engineer in the territory to provide you with all of the technical support required to prospect and close opportunities
  • Create and implement a sales strategy that makes sure you meets sales goals established by the company.
  • Communicate with all current and potential customers on a regular basis and oversee all sales activity in your assigned sales territory.
  • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
  • Has regular and productive contact with customers and customer representatives and is often actively involved in the result of the sale.
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Coordinate with other members of the sales team and team leaders as needed to generate sales and provide excellent customer service.
  • Submit reports on your sales activity regularly into the company’s CRM software and maintain clean and updated records for all leads and customers.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, And Traits

  • 5 years+ experience in sales, specifically outside/traveling sales
  • Territorial vs local sales is preferred
  • Experience selling to natural gas power plants is highly preffered
  • Intermediate computer skills and ability to utilize our web-based and mobile sales applications (SalesForce.com)
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook
  • Customer service driven with a high sense of urgency
  • Very organized and extremely driven
