Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic Technical Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background combined with exceptional communication and training skills. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering technical training programs to employees, customers, and partners. Your goal will be to ensure that all participants gain the knowledge and skills needed to effectively use and support our products/services.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Design and develop technical training programs and materials tailored to various audiences, including new hires, customers, and partners.
  • Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions both in-person and virtually, ensuring participants grasp complex technical concepts.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify training gaps and customize training programs accordingly.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure training content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with company objectives.
  • Utilize a variety of training methodologies, techniques, and tools to enhance learning effectiveness (e.g., e-learning platforms, simulations, hands-on labs).
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics, making continuous improvements to training programs.
  • Provide ongoing support and mentoring to trainees, helping them apply their learning in real-world scenarios.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in technology to continuously update training content and methodologies.
  • Assist in the development of certification programs and exams for product/service knowledge validation.

Skills And Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Technical Trainer, Training Specialist, or similar role, preferably in a technology-driven environment.
  • Strong understanding of technical concepts and products/services relevant to the company’s industry.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical information into easy-to-understand training materials.
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
  • Certification in training methodologies (e.g., CTT+) is a plus.
  • Passion for teaching and helping others succeed.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
