About The Role

Reckitt is seeking a hands-on Technical Manager who can bring innovation and skill to one of our manufacturing sites. In this role, you'll guide your team through the exciting journey of developing new products and improving processes for some of the most trusted healthcare brands. Your expertise will be the driving force behind flawless production and the seamless launch of new items that will impact lives globally. Your responsibilities

Partners and works closely with the Operations team, R&D (Research & Development), and Quality groups to ensure products are manufactured right the first time, from initial product qualification through on-going formula optimization.

Works with manufacturing teams on the shop floor, helping to troubleshoot operations problems and drive manufacturing improvements – across both product manufacturing and product packaging.

Serves as leader for cross-functional teams formed for product qualifications, launches, and troubleshooting.

Leverages knowledge of unit operations and engineering principles to effectively troubleshoot processing and equipment issues.

Continuously improve operational and technical capabilities to achieve business goals.

Assess and implement improvements for Plant CIP / COP / Master Sanitation

Effectively communicates technical topics to key stakeholders, management, and team members to influence decisions.

Uses knowledge of process instrumentation and process control concepts, in partnership with automation colleagues, to develop and optimize functional requirements for the plant floor control system.

Identifies and implements cost reduction / productivity improvements.

Identifies and develops initiatives and projects that enhance supply chain processes.

Sets technical standards for operations, maintenance, safety, and quality.

Develops protocols to qualify processes and equipment (IQ, OQ and PQ). Applies the understanding of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points), GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practice) (Good Manufacturing Practice) and regulatory requirements to process design and qualifications.

The experience we're looking for

Experience in manufacturing support is essential. Relevant manufacturing fields include infant formula, dairy products, nutritional food products and pharmaceuticals.

Understanding of regulatory and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) requirements for manufacturing of infant formulas or other highly regulated product types is essential.

Knowledge of nutritional products, food chemistry, analytical sampling and testing, and food / infant formula product formulation would be highly relevant.

Knowledge and experience in finished product packaging is an advantage.

Familiarization with Process Engineering, micro sensitive equipment design, thermodynamics, and process optimization would be useful.

Candidate should have experience in technical writing, Process and Quality Control Documentation, and Technical Presentations.

Experience of using statistical process control data to analyze situations and drive decision making is needed.

Proficiency in Computer software such as – AutoCAD, Visio, Minitab, Microsoft Office, and other related work tools would be a benefit.

Salary Ranges

The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
