Austin Detonator Celebrates Three Years without Injuries or Accidents "Three years without an injury or recorded treatment is an extraordinary result given the risky nature of our department's activities," said Petr Hodoško, logistics manager. The 50-member team handles high-risk material handling and has implemented proactive safety measures to mitigate risks." The Logistics Team manages the distribution of goods among 65 buildings and oversees 21 magazines and warehouses in the Austin Detonator complex in Vsetín and five outbound magazines in Manerov. They also handle internal and external transport, order completion, and customs clearance for international shipments. "You don't learn safety in a training course. It's all about prevention. The most important thing is that safety is 'etched under our skin,' so we think about safety in every activity – always," Hodoško emphasized. Weekly safety discussions have fostered a culture of continuous risk assessment and proactive safety practices. This system's success is evident in its milestone of three injury-free years.

Strengthening Relationships in Japan: Training with a Leader in Explosives Enes Kubat recently visited Austin Detonator's long-term partner, Kayaku Japan, a leader in explosives work in the Japanese market. During his three-day visit, he provided training on working with E*STAR electronic detonators, which are hardly used in the Japanese market. As a reliable supplier, Austin Detonator strives to showcase the latest products and build partnerships with local market leaders. The reasons are simple. Japan is unique not only for its culture, which is firmly rooted in traditional values and customs but also because it is a global technological leader.
