Technical Director

The Technical Director will be responsible for collaborating internally and externally to support delivery of digital projects on behalf of our clients. A qualified candidate will have strong overall knowledge of the technology landscape, proven ability to collaborate, and a strategic mindset to identify emerging technologies and trends in order to produce innovative client work.

Job Responsibilities:

• Create, review, and update technical documentation
• Collaborate with creative, project management, and other cross-functional teams to take projects from the conceptual phase to functional application
• Serve as technical lead on digital projects, working independently to plan and deliver appropriate solutions
• Troubleshoot technical issues such as plugin conflicts, broken links, and website errors
• Serve as in-house technical expert, keeping up to date on industry and technological trends
• Prioritize and manage development resources and any applicable partnerships
• Develop technology best practices and processes
• Work with clients on tech applicability to their specific business type and challenges
• Proactively identify opportunities for technical innovation

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• 8+ years of related experience in web development roles, preferably within an agency environment
• Prior experience working with and delivering solutions for healthcare clients preferred
• Expertise in WordPress technologies
• Knowledge of CRM technologies (Salesforce, Veeva, SharePoint, Chatbots, Messaging Platforms, AI) a plus
• Excellent communication skills (written, presentation), and proven ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment focused on continuous product innovation along with building out that environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

The anticipated salary range for this position will be $125K-$155K. Salary is based on job-related factors such as: years of relevant experience, qualifications and/or certifications. Spectrum reserves the right to modify this pay range at any given time.
