The Technical Director will be responsible for collaborating internally and externally to support delivery of digital projects on behalf of our clients. A qualified candidate will have strong overall knowledge of the technology landscape, proven ability to collaborate, and a strategic mindset to identify emerging technologies and trends in order to produce innovative client work.
Job Responsibilities:
Create, review, and update technical documentation
Collaborate with creative, project management, and other cross-functional teams to take projects from the conceptual phase to functional application
Serve as technical lead on digital projects, working independently to plan and deliver appropriate solutions
Troubleshoot technical issues such as plugin conflicts, broken links, and website errors
Serve as in-house technical expert, keeping up to date on industry and technological trends
Prioritize and manage development resources and any applicable partnerships
Develop technology best practices and processes
Work with clients on tech applicability to their specific business type and challenges
Proactively identify opportunities for technical innovation
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
8+ years of related experience in web development roles, preferably within an agency environment
Prior experience working with and delivering solutions for healthcare clients preferred
Expertise in WordPress technologies
Knowledge of CRM technologies (Salesforce, Veeva, SharePoint, Chatbots, Messaging Platforms, AI) a plus
Excellent communication skills (written, presentation), and proven ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the organization
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment focused on continuous product innovation along with building out that environment
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
The anticipated salary range for this position will be $125K-$155K. Salary is based on job-related factors such as: years of relevant experience, qualifications and/or certifications. Spectrum reserves the right to modify this pay range at any given time.
