Summary

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be at the heart of our recruitment process, playing a crucial role in identifying and selecting top talent while ensuring exceptional candidate experiences. You will be an ambassador for our company culture, passionately promoting our core values and making recruitment a fun and engaging journey. This role demands a balance of multiple tasks and changing priorities, making every day exciting and different.

This role is crucial to our success, serving as the catalyst for identifying and selecting talent and ensuring support for our internal hiring community. You will influence our recruitment strategy, use creative approaches to identify key talent sources, and provide high-touch support throughout the candidate experience. Reporting to the VP, People and Culture, you will be an integral part of our People and Culture Team.

Key Result Areas

Talent Sourcing:

    • Identify and engage with potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events.
    • Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
Interview Coordination

    • Be accountable for coordinating interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
    • Conduct culture-focused interviews to ensure we hire talent that enhances our company culture.
    • Provide timely feedback to candidates and hiring managers throughout the interview and selection process.
    • Work with hiring managers to improve their interviewing skills, conducting regular training on interviewing best practices.
    • Optimize the process for evaluating candidates’ fit for the organization and culture - including quantitative and qualitative assessments and the overall journey.
Candidate Care

    • Maintain consistent communication with candidates, offering support and guidance throughout their recruitment journey.
    • Ensure a positive candidate experience by being responsive, transparent, and supportive.
Contractor Management

    • Oversee the recruitment and onboarding of contractors, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
    • Manage contractor relationships, addressing any issues that may arise during their tenure.
Global Recruitment Support

    • Collaborate with our North and South American teams to support global recruitment efforts.
    • Partner with our PEO to ensure a seamless hire experience for employees based in key regions.
    • Understand and navigate different cultural nuances and employment regulations in various regions.
Offer Management

    • Assist in the preparation and delivery of job offers, ensuring alignment with company policies and candidate expectations.
    • Support candidates through the offer acceptance process, addressing any questions or concerns.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in recruitment, preferably within the e-commerce or tech industry.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
