What You’ll Do

As the Talent Acquisition Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Synergy Pet Group by identifying and securing top talent. If you have experience in the pet industry, a background in recruitment agencies, and are skilled with ATS systems, we want to hear from you!

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing the full recruitment lifecycle for approximately 8+ open roles at any given time, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Developing and implementing innovative recruiting strategies to attract high-caliber candidates from the pet industry and beyond.
  • Utilizing and optimizing our applicant tracking systems (ATS) to streamline the recruitment workflow and maintain accurate candidate records.
  • Building strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide expert guidance throughout the hiring process.
  • Building and maintaining a talent pipeline for future hiring needs
  • Leveraging your industry connections and attending relevant events to build a pipeline of potential candidates.
  • Ensuring a positive candidate experience by maintaining clear and consistent communication.
  • Continuously evaluating and improving our recruitment processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Assisting with employer branding initiatives to enhance our attractiveness as an employer.



Ideal Candidate:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably with a background in the pet industry and recruitment agencies.
  • Proficient in using ATS Proficient, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Boolean search techniques.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers alike.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with full-cycle recruiting across various departments (e.g., tech, marketing, operations)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Passion for animals and a genuine interest in the pet care industry.
