Job Description

The Systems Administrator plays a crucial role in aligning IT Enterprise Services with customer-focused objectives and our IT Vision. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, application developers, and third-party vendors to ensure the seamless operation of our vendor-purchased applications. Responsibilities include server maintenance, application upgrades, disaster recovery planning, and providing technical support. As our go-to expert, you'll enhance system performance, maintain high availability, and uphold system health.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain Oracle Fusion applications and databases.
  • Implement security measures and access controls.
  • Support change control and testing processes for application modifications.
  • Proactively monitor and maintain Linux and/or Windows system environments.
  • Provide responsive technical assistance and document configuration for support processes.
  • Foster strong relationships with third-party vendors and cross-functional teams.
  • Research and recommend innovative, automated approaches to system administration tasks.
  • Offer after-hours support as needed.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience (3 years with degree, 5 years without).
  • Hands-on experience in enterprise application and server administration.
  • Proficiency in Enterprise Windows Administration, including Certificate Services, Web Services, and Security concepts.
  • Familiarity with ITIL and Agile frameworks.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion and/or Oracle ORMB is preferred.
  • Technical knowledge of network infrastructure, PCs, and operating systems (Windows, Red Hat).
  • Scripting proficiency in Shell, YAML, Bash, Python, PowerShell, Batch, HTML5, CSS.
  • Familiarity with database technologies such as Oracle, SQL, PostGres, MongoDB.
  • Understanding of Release Automation processes and ITSM methodologies.
  • Knowledge of application support practices for platforms like M365, Dynamics Cloud applications, and others listed.
