The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) has announced that they’re removing “Equity” from their Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (ED&I) strategy. Going forward, they will be focused primarily on Diversity and Inclusion, stating the “strategic decision underscores our commitment to leading with Inclusion as the catalyst for holistic change in workplaces and society.” They also cite “societal backlash and increasing polarization” as a reason for the change.
