Switchgear Sales Trainee

SUMMARY:

The Quotations Specialist – Switchgear works closely with our Sales Team & Customers to quote and coordinate pre-bid takeoffs. The position is customer-facing and requires great customer service skills as well as technical expertise. Quotations Specialist will be soliciting pricing from vendors and multi-tasking multiple project bid opportunities.  

REPORTS TO: PC Manager

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• A minimum of one year of customer service experience
• Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems
• Familiarity with Office Suite software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors Degree in Construction management or related field

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Working conditions will be standard for an office environment & warehouse.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: NO

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Provide outstanding customer service through communication skills and technical ability.
• Review specifications and electrical construction drawings
• Be a resource for coworker with regard to design & technical questions
• Perform take-offs for materials to be quoted
• Create accurate and complete bill of materials
• Work closely with the sales team to strategize on project quotes
