Position Summary
The Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy, M&A, and Capability Building, will be a key member of our executive leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO. This position will be responsible for the development and execution of corporate strategies, leading merger, and acquisitions initiatives, and enhancing organizational capabilities to ensure sustained growth and competitive advantage.

The Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy, M&A, and Capability Building, will be a key member of our executive leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO. This position will be responsible for the development and execution of corporate strategies, leading merger, and acquisitions initiatives, and enhancing organizational capabilities to ensure sustained growth and competitive advantage.
Core Functions
- Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop, refine, and execute the company’s long-term strategic plan in alignment with organizational goals and market trends.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless execution of strategic initiatives.
- Mergers and Acquisitions:
- Identify and evaluate potential M&A opportunities in line with the company’s growth objectives.
- Lead due diligence efforts, negotiate transactions, and oversee integration processes to maximize value creation.
- Capability Building:
- Assess and enhance organizational capabilities, including talent development, technology adoption, and process optimization.
- Implement initiatives to build a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and potential growth areas.
- Provide insights to support informed decision dash making and strategic direction.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including board members, executive leadership, and industry partners.
- Represent the company in discussions with investors, analysts, and key industry influencers.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
- Establish KPIs and metrics to track the progress of strategic initiatives.
- Provide regular updates to the executive team and board on the status of the corporate strategy execution. New line new line
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree/international equivalent in Business Management; Advanced degree in Business or Economics strongly preferred.
- Management of large scale highly complex merger and acquisition experience on an international scale in excess of $1B in sales.
- 12+ years of relevant experience, including 7+ plus years of demonstrated success in senior leadership roles with the focus on corporate strategy, M&A, and capability building.
- Strategic planning and execution of brand portfolio strategy design/redesign across multiple markets and product brands.
- Working with joint venture ownership structure and operational ownership of new companies once formed.
- Strong financial acumen supporting operational leadership of product and category management, procurement, strategic design, and sales planning.
- Launching and leading large scale global consumer product strategic projects such as in-home delivery, ecommerce, etc.
- Proven ability to drive strategic initiatives resulting in significant business growth and value creation.
- Leading organizational restructuring efforts on a global scale including financial modeling, valuation, and deal structuring.
- $167,000 plus discretionary short term and long term incentive plan participation
- Fluency in multiple languages to have a competitive advantage in global business dealings.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Strong knowledge of financial management.
- Significant international travel is required (50%+).

- Manager+: Plans, organizes, evaluates, and directs the employees within the department function. Has direct reports.
- This position is subject to sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involved sitting most of the time. Walking and standing are required only occasionally.
- This position is subject to the following physical activities: standing, walking, talking, hearing, and the use of hands, wrists, or fingers in repetitive motions.
- The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly of fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.
- This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
