Auction Supervisor- Washington
Assist State Manager with day-to-day business operations and ensuring all required auction day process and staffing requirements are met for a given auction type and location. Position requires the ability to multi-task within the fast-pace auction environment and provides leadership to the auction support team.

- Remote - Must reside in Western Washington
Assist State Manager with day-to-day business operations and ensuring all required auction day process and staffing requirements are met for a given auction type and location. Position requires the ability to multi-task within the fast-pace auction environment and provides leadership to the auction support team.

Responsibilities/Duties
As an Auction Supervisor, you will assist the State Manager with daily operations. This may include but not limited to:
- Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
- Develop, maintain, and utilize training job aids.
- Manage logistical needs for Bidder Services and normal auction day processes.
- Organize workflow and ensure employees understand their duties or delegated tasks.
- Monitoring employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
- Find creative ways to bring in new buyers.
- Supervise Auction day processes and staff.
- Create, maintain, and account for all auction equipment and materials.
- Research, identify, and support development of improved technologies and systems to allow for enhanced operational efficiency.
- Ensure that all required duties and responsibilities are executed.
- Develop improved processes for at-auction.
- Provide liaison and counsel to staff as needed
- Some travel, including overnight may be required
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point software programs.
- Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills.
- Organized and detail oriented.
- Problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new processes.
- Achieves high performance while managing several assignments.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and stressful conditions while maintaining professionalism.
- BA/BS Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Prior supervisory experience leading a team of 10 or more employees.
- Work history to show a rate of progression through positions and/or company succession plan.
- Auction experience required.
