Store Associate

Arc Herkimer is looking for a Store Associate. The Store Associate will assist the Store Manager in retail responsibilities, financial transactions, and provide outstanding service to all customers.

Part time 20-25 hours/week, hours vary (shift varies, may include weekends/evenings)

Rate of pay: $15/hour

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• One year retail experience preferred
  
  

Duties include but not limited to:

• Stock shelves and hang goods on clothing racks
• Responsible for answering questions regarding store and merchandise
• Arrange and display merchandise to promote sales
• Maintain cleanliness of store including windows, air filters, restrooms, donation center, and back room
• Provide assistance in loss prevention procedures and assist store managers in internal and external loss prevention efforts
• Ability to use POS system
• Account for transactions of cash, credit cards, and gift certificate transactions
• Sort and properly classify products
• Assign appropriate pricing in accordance with standard policies
• Undertake other duties and responsibilities required by manager
