Overview

Due to growth, we are adding Sr. Manager, Revenue Cycle Management to our Accounting team .

The Head of Revenue Cycle Management is responsible for setting the strategic and operational direction for billing and collection of accounts receivable. The incumbent in this role is also responsible for collaborating with Navitus' industry relations and rebate teams in the processing of drug rebates from collection to allocation and distribution to clients. The leader in this role must be focused on driving efficiencies, billing and accounts receivable balance and aging accuracy, exceptional customer interactions, a great place to work for team members, and results as measured by cash flow, minimal bad debt, and timely resolution of accounts receivable and rebate payments.

The incumbent in this role will also have significant accountability to operationalize and maintain a modernized billing technology platform that will advance Navitus’ billing processes in terms of reduced manual effort and timeliness.

Responsibilities

How do I make an impact on my team?

  • Assesses and enhances the processes for billing, collections, and cash application, ensuring billing is consistent with the terms included in the client contract.
  • Ensures alignment with account executive teams around communication of fee changes, billing, collection, and rebate distributions. Cultivate internal collaboration with account management and underwriting to ensure contracted fees are reflected not only in the invoicing and financial statements but also modeled in the underwritten deal model.
  • Oversees documentation of billing and collection policies and procedures.
  • Resolves billing and collections issues, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with internal and external clients and managed staff.
  • Leads the implementation and maintenance of a modernized billing technology platform and billing processes.
  • Collaborates with Controllership with preparation and presentation of monthly and quarterly metrics (AR reconciliation, AR Aging trends, Allowance for Doubtful Accounts), and reviews important trends with leaders to drive decisions.

Qualifications

What our team expects from you?

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or related field.
  • Minimum of five years of managerial experience in billing and collections, with at least three years of experience utilizing an automated billing solution in a dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge and experience with financial system applications/ERP software such as Oracle (ORMB/Fusion), SAP, NetSuite, etc. are preferred.
  • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
  • The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
