Primary Purpose: Independently manage accounting processes to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Consolidate monthly financials for parent company and subsidiaries, profit analysis and elimination entries.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements under U.S. GAAP.
- Generate statement of cash flows for all entities, including foreign subsidiaries.
- Perform monthly closing entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis for multiple subsidiaries.
- Oversee cost accounting for manufacturing operations, analyzing income statement and balance sheet variances.
- Develop and maintain key metrics related to manufacturing performance.
- Collaborate with internal departments to compile data for accounting closing and variance analysis.
- Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting activities.
- Coordinate with external audit firm during annual audit processes.
- Conduct physical inventory checks and reconcile variances semi-annually.
- Prepare schedules for quarterly income tax estimates.
- Maintain Fixed Assets register and calculate monthly depreciation.
- Calculate Foreign Exchange Gain/Loss.
- Support special projects as needed.
- Adhere to company policies and relevant laws.
- Travel domestically and internationally to locations or customer sites as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
- 8-10 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in cost accounting within manufacturing environments.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access.
- Ability to thrive in a hands-on, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong analytical skills with problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Previous experience in industrial products or manufacturing businesses.
